Thanks to your support, I was able to exceed two goals on Sunday, December 16, 2007.
The first, and most important goal, was to raise $4,500 for the Wounded Warrior Project. We received donations totalling over $6,600! I'm grateful to everyone who participated in the fundraiser for this important cause.
I also beat my goal of completing the Jacksonville Marathon in 4 hours and 5 minutes. The weather was warmer and more humid than expected. It was 70 degrees at the start, and so humid I had to ditch my shirt at the 17-mile mark. (Quite different than training in sub-freezing temps in New England!)
All my training paid off, and I finished with a time of 3:53:06. I learned a lot, and will modify my training for the next event.
Thank you again to everyone who supported me through this effort.

Mark brings a positive, inspiring message based on actual successes in the military, corporate world, marathon running and as a consultant.
What amazes me is that I ALWAYS learn something new, different and exciting whenever I am lucky enough to attend one of your many excellent presentations.
